The wine is the 2007 Rayos Uva Rioja from master wine maker Olivier Riviere in Rioja, Spain.
This wine is really wonderful. It shows us what tempranillo grown in Rioja soils is really like. No oak aging mean you get 100% tempranillo fruit, and you may be surprised just how fresh and fruity the grape is. Give it a try – it's a very easy wine to love.
